You know the feeling when you get invited as a couple for the first time to an event (technically it isn’t the first event we attended as a couple but the first wedding reception party) still counts? Becoming a family and being introduced as a wife and people wanting to know where I’ve come from, what I do, introductions and greetings π
So, this Saturday we were invited to R.G’s colleagues reception party that was being held at their apartment. Getting dressed in a Black and gold anarkali. Nails done. Hair done. Drove downtown to go attend the party and as we got out of their apartment elevator on the 30th floor or something and walked, it opened up to this massively beautiful entryway.
Clean cuts and glass everywhere. Imagine having an entire floor to yourself. For the first couple of minutes I couldn’t even believe that it was a house. I know how Multi million dollarsΒ homes are supposed to look like (thanks to HGTV and other tv shows) but an apartment that could fit over 140 people at the same time and still had the space for more wasn’t something I was expecting. Almost like being on MTV cribs/Museum/club π Β Standing in their balcony and looking at half the city in the night. The lights, music, getting to meet some wonderful people. It was just an incredible home and a really nice reception party.
seriously, WHAAAT A PARTYYY! π
I still can’t get over the fact that we were in an apartment that huge and now I’m busy giving all sorts of hints to my husband about homes π hehe. We’re back in our 2000 something square feet apartment. Spacious enough for us (for now) and like I always say. It is all good and if it isn’t it’ll get better anyways. π
Till then I can sing “mujhe mil jo jaye thoda paisa” π
Promise I’m not a greedy person π everyone gets to have Choti si ashaΒ (small wants) no?
Love,
A.D!!
I really like this song from agosh and I think it’s in our nature to always desire a little better and I think it’s good…till it makes us work harder to achieve them π
True true. such things that are still keeping us going π hehe.
Yes they are π
As I went on reading about your getting ready section, very badly desired to see you! Upload a photo of you dear π And, it would have been a luxurious apartment must visited once at the least if not possible to buy π Well, I would rather invest on a farm house if I can in future π Nice post!
